How can the nostr protocol benefit people who don’t care about the nostr protocol?
1. Censorship-resistance
2. One identity for most of the web (not having to manage a hundred different accounts)
What else?

- in-app instant payment support (could potentially be stablecoins too, if anybody wanted that)
earn bitcoin. if we can get to some kind of automatic self custodial wallet, then folks could earn zaps/tips passively. one day, if the balance becomes worth something, they may discover an interest in it.
Number 2 is already a big thing imo
Interoperability. Not having to bounce around 10 platforms to follow someone's content.
3. Anyone can become a provider for these apps now… usually only Google can profit off of video serving on YouTube, for example. Now, anyone can become a server.
No email accounts or phone numbers needed, multiple accounts allowed
Unpopular opinion here but those 2 points will never interest a regular user
Most likely users will follow creators. How to attract creators is a whole lot different topic
Regular users are interested in either content or their friends already there
Bitcoin payments and interoperability also not those things which attract regular users
