βš‘οΈπŸš— WATCH - Popular Car YouTube Channel shows that just one year after purchasing a new Toyota Camry, many of your subscriptions run out

To keep them you will pay $600 every year, just to use the features on the car you already bought

β€œToyota is charging us $600 a year to keep all of our functions on our 2025 Camry after we've owned it for a year. Let's go ahead and dive into what it is. Well, everything's a subscription nowadays, so it shouldn't be too surprising that cars are now wanting a subscription as well.”

This breakdown is insane

We CANNOT let this be normalized. Subscriptions on your car you already bought should be legally banned

I love my 2011 F150.

Seeing these things makes me REALLY fuqqin love my 2011 F150.

πŸ‘

We’re in the age of not buying new things because everything is shittier

I'm seriously considering finding a new 6r80 transmission and a 3.5ecoboost motor to put in storage for future replacement instead of buying a truck that can be hacked by wifi.

Smart idea. I certainly I’ve been buying capacitors for my air cons in advance causes those go wrong for no reasons and it’s hundred of dollars to have emergency repairs done in Florida when it’s 100 outside. Going forward things that can be repaired should cause almost nothing can be repair anymore.

Those are great to have on hand. 60 bucks today and 5 minutes of work to replace as soon as it goes out or $250 after everyone is miserable in an 80Β° house to the HVAC man.....

Ya man feels good to be a hero. I’m not the most handy guy but we lost ac when my in laws were over a few weeks back and in 20 minutes I had us like penguins. I had to learn it the hard way when two years ago it happenened with an infant in the house and $800 later

Yes. Bring back old trucks πŸ‘Œ

You will own nothing

Not even your fancy car

Pay to play to live

#haiku

Those subscriptions are the most retarded thing of 2025, idk if 2026 can top that

Never underestimate stupidity 🍿

Is this real life?

How to reduce cars sales 🀑🌏

That's the problem unfortunately most people are too lazy and/or dumb the might complain once or twice. Then just give in and buy it

This is so retarded. Carry a physical key and then just use CarPlay to get navigation and such.

Soon there will be a per bag fee with a weight limit.

Cyborgs in there space ships and wel ride horses.

I wonder if, endless government regulation aside, there would be a market for new cars using only 60s technology and features but with modern materials and production methods. Ought to be rather cheap to produce given the advancement in industry and the lack of computer technology but probably only at scale.

If I had money to burn, I'd love to gather some engineers and mechanics build some stainless muscle cars πŸ˜„

There's already a market for diesel pickups from early 2000 before all the electronic crap. Their price is rising due to ppl buying and restoring them where I live.

There absolutely IS a market for this... but itd be illegal to build and drive

I wouldn't use any of those features that require a subscription.

Still pretty despicable.
