The *chip, gets much hotter than this (mine was up in the 150 degree range). I think its about making sure the air you are cooling with is actually going to cool it, or using a liquid alternative.
ie. if its 120 degrees outside and your miners overheat, don't call Whatsminer because they warned you, lol.
