I tend to juice the mandarins & oranges so I don't need to mess about with peel & seeds. I don't know what half my citrus is because many have not really fruited yet. It's usually dry in winter/spring here so not ideal for setting fruit. I also had about 7 pomellos, which were nice.
The last year I've been pretty good with piling out mulch & with the extra rain, it looks like I'll get a bumper crop next winter. I've got this horrible feeling I've planted too many lemons & limes 🤣
I've figured out that lychees are super easy to grow here & very productive. I planted 3 more last year along with a bunch of other fruit trees. My Syntropic row is now in its second year so I'm super excited to see how things go this season.
Now that I'm not working for fiat I have the time to give things attention when they need it. It seems to be having an impact (although it might be just a good run of weather).
7 pomello fruit.
I've got 1 mature tree and quite a few seedlings about 18 months old
