The word pleb has an etymological history. It comes from the Latin word plebeians. Romans were known for knowing nothing about modern American culture. A culture in which some lost souls would refer to plebeians as pleebs.

It’s sad to see that most Bitcoiners have absolutely no clue, what pleb means or why we call ourselves that.

On the other hand, it means adoption is spreading.

I think it's a local thing. Europeans are primed to pronounce it as 'plehb' because it's not an English native word and exists in all European languages.

True. But more important than pronouncing it, is understanding what it means. Bitcoin is our secessio plebis.
