I think you should move to something better -- I did and performance is up 10x. And maybe consider ditching LND
My po4 has only 4GB and the state of the mempool keeps it at a light 92% load without any zapparoodle. Recently too many timeouts, I think it's time to upgrade. It will collapse soon when on-chain surges
Amazon currently has some renewed HP EliteDesk 800 G2 Mini with Intel Quad-core i7-6700T processor and 16gb RAM for $178. Throw in a 1TB Samsung 980 Pro M.2 ssd for another $80 and youβve got a pretty decently sweet node for just north of $250 USD. One heck of an upgrade from a lowly pi!
I'm mindful of the energy cost, it's damn expensive here. Plus I got the case, the screen, the everything already for Raspi π it's simplest to swap for 8GB at this point
