Good morning! I wish I was that bold! Deactivating an account is a big step.

Here’s to new beginnings and finding what’s next. Wishing you all the best on your journey! πŸ‘

I’m trying to do the same. I feel like most people I follow on Twitter are also on Nostr but they don’t cross post. We need more cross posting or better Nostr only posting.

I had detached from bird app months ago, this was the final step.

I don't know why it took me so long to make that final step.

Feels good though.

Well done

What made you finally decide to pull the trigger?

I'm not sure. The weather here has gone from winter to spring almost overnight. It might be part of a wider purification ritual, a spring clean of sorts.

nostr is the way

Did the same last month. Now Nostr only. It’s honestly refreshing to not feel like im addicted to crack, which in hindsight is how I was using X.

Nostr and occasionally Substack*

I'd already broken the addiction (this took a while).

I guess part of it was removing my user from their count of active users. Even if I opened the app once a month to check notifications, they'd count me as an active user.

I don't want to encourage anyone to use that toxic platform, even indirectly.

You're doing God's work.

There are a few things I still need to do on Twitter before I can leave it for good.

If you believe there is.
