If you tag someone in another person's DM, they can't see what you said because it's encrypted in another person's DM, but they get the notification. It's because DMs on Nostr are...less than perfect.

The next thing I’d suspect is either a client is subscribing to kind 4 notes when it shouldn’t or a relay is responding with them when it shouldn’t. 🤔

ran a quick query against the damus relay for notes from you. I see a single kind: 4 (encrypted DM) before your kind: 1 note about “my dms being posts is crazy”.
