Living in the city or in the countryside? What does #nostr have to say about that? I've lived in the city all my life.

Nothing compares with countryside πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘ŠπŸΌ

Why? What do you like so much about it?

The peace is priceless, only who lived in both knows that it is really a big difference 😎

countryside is the way πŸ’œπŸŒ³πŸŒΎ

even though I currently live close to the city again

I am open to everything at the moment. Therefore, I wonder what the advantages of living in the countryside would be

I love the beauty of historic cities and great infrastructure but I also love the idea of my own "green citadel"

Gardening is a great thing 😊

I’ve done both but have to admit that I like the countryside better πŸ˜…

What are the benefits?

well I guess is more related to what I enjoy more than benefits.

For me it’s about the quiet & getting away from the hustle of a busy city and being out in the nature πŸ«‚

I’m a super introverted person so a busy city is just making me more tired and less relaxed.

On the other hand, I wouldn’t mine living/being in a city for a while, but feels like access to a more quiet place near nature is the ideal

I like oases of peace. When I'm in the countryside in Sweden, I'm actually also calmer and more balanced. But I also like the opportunities that the city offers

Quality of life is inversely related to the number is street lights you have in your city.

Visit cities

That’s a possibility πŸ€”

Buddhism makes it even easier

Yay another vegan! Also Paris is probably my favorite city, very jealous. What are some of your fav vegan spots there? I really enjoyed Le Potager de Charlotte

Hej πŸ«‚Le Potager de Charlotte ist awesome 😍 It depends on what cuisine you like, of course.

Land and Monkeys is my favorite bakery

At 42DegrΓ©s you can also eat very well

I also like the VΓ©gΓ©t'Halles.

We can talk more about it if you'd like. There are great vegan options in Paris

πŸ’œ

I loved land and monkeys sandwiches! I think VG still holds the best for me in terms of baked goods 🀌🏻

VG is ❀️

So you know Riz Riz?

No! Didn’t make it there when I was in Paris this past June :/

Then my recommendation for next time

I’d rather live in the city. πŸ’œ

I could not imagine living in the countryside until now. But who knows...

Currently live in a city/city suburb but as I grow older, leaning towards that countryside life

I am just thinking if the combination of traveling and living in the countryside would be a good idea

That doesn’t sound like a bad idea!

I like the city, but it would be nice to have a home in the countryside for an occasional escape.

Like a cottage in the countryside 😎

Exactly with a garden and chickens

πŸ€”πŸ₯°πŸ”πŸŒ»πŸ₯¦πŸ₯•πŸŒ½

The word "escape". Accurate. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜…

Countryside by day, city by night.

Doesn't sound bad, what do you do in the countryside during the day?

Hike, climb, swim, kayak, paddle board, bike, find beauty, think, be at rest with the universe.

Wow, you are very active 😎

It sounds way cooler in a note lol. They’re basically just reasons to be outside 😊. But I do love the city too, so many people to orange pill.

Currently in San Diego so most of the countryside close to here is beach or desert but I go up north to Seattle often and see the mountains.

I say countryside. I dont like air pollution, noise pollution, or light pollution.

A valid argument

πŸ«‚

Both have advantages and disadvantages. I think it depends on what you prefer and maybe what's your current life situation.
