I think after this fast I’ll go to a stake house and get the biggest stake in the menu …

I think you have the right to enjoy yourself after your youth.

SAMESIES … maybe it’s a balance thing

Stopped doing 72+ hours fasts because the benefits didn't speak for it. It also impacted my sleep and cortisol. Carnivore + fruits + honey with two meals per day is the way forward.

What was your goal with the fasts

I think there is benefit to 72 hours, not much beyond that.

Yes, autophagy is supposed to max out at around 72h, longer is still beneficial but at what costs (and I'm the one who loves to eat).

I think frequency, I do a 72 hour every month, is more beneficial than prolonged fasting. Kidney damage is a real threat with fasting that borders starvation.

I have tried 72h each week, it worked well except the cortisol induced insomnia.

I think OMAD is sustainable, one meal every 48 hours for gradual weight loss, autophagy, a fast over 36 hours once a month is pretty conducive to wellness…72 every week is almost never eating and starvation is damaging. 😊 Eat anything and as much as you want once every 24 hours most days! Eating is great!

yep. I did this for 18-24mths and you can find a really comfortable rhythm with it

so you’re enjoying it, right? Right?

😂

I wish

Extreme anything isn’t the way. Extreme diets, extreme exercise, extreme thoughts. Everything in moderation. There’s my unsolicited advice note for the day 😂🫂

Too extreme. Tone it down a little for tomorrow

stop pretending. I can tell ya loving it 🥰😂

joking aside. It takes multiple iterations for the fat to become adapted and easily accessible. The start is hard but like most things, if you persist it changes

Are you fasting from vampires?

You made my dad joke for me 😂

My phone hates me

Support your local meat market, get some fat cuts and toss em on the grill. You might even save a few bucks instead of going out, and you can stack what you save 😏🤝🍻

Closest butcher 1 hour drive :(

Ya got me there. At any rate, your accomplishment deserves a nice cut, no matter the circumstance. Respect for the fast.
