GM,

If you you have a minute, would you mind answering three short questions:

What’s the number one thing about your physical fitness you want to work one?

What motivates you?

And what’s stopping you ?

I’m asking because I’m working on what type of content (and what formats) to share here on Nostr that is helpful for people.

Thank you and have a great day 😊

Ashtanga yogi here.

I've done a few pilates sessions and find it an excellent complement to ashtanga.

I'm older than average here and want to develop as good as possible mobility, stability and strength for old age.

Oh that’s awesome. I did Ashtanga Yoga for a while too. I love the practice and I find too it goes quite well with Pilates 😊

And both Pilates and Ashtanga are great for building and maintaining mobility, stability and strength

I'm generally inflexible but my shoulders and back are by far the worst problematic.

I want to be able to keep my hands straight above my head, but in general i am working towards doing (a) muscle-up(s).

Nothing is really stopping me. I have my fysio exercises that start to slowly improve things. I mostly have to just stick to them and do them at least every other day (most of the time i exercise different muscle groups every day).

I hear you! Shoulder and back pain and tightness is so common. And yes, consistency is key 😊

1. Stop being fat.

2. I'm tired of being fat.

3. Soooooooo much fat... But I'm in progress, so, it's fine. I'm way better off than last year.

1) Flexibility

2) The ability to be active later in life

3) Finding the time

Yes, I definitely feel you on 2 and 3. I like doing stretches in between things or quick and effective workouts that can been done at home when I’ve got 20 or 30 min
