do you have a bucket list and if so, what are some of the things that are at the top of it?

1. Get a bucket

2. Stack Sats in it

3. Never sell those Sats

this is the way 💜

1. Travel

hmm, any certain locations you're eyeing out currently?

the stubborn pursuit and overcoming the odds is impeccable, and no list will ever provide that for me

read a little about the stockdale paradox and this reminded to get back into it

interesting. what is the stockdale paradox?

in a nutshell

this

in the next 3 years the plan is to have visited all continents 🙈 lets hope I make it

oohh, that's one hell of a goal to have

fingers crossed 🤞

This idea of a bucket list works for some people but living a life based on a list creates undue pressure and stress. It detracts from the enjoyment of the present..

It’s actually quite unhealthy, imo

hmm, i've contemplated it a lot, and i've yet to really make one for that same reasoning

i set goals for myself, but ticking something off doesn't make me happier or more fulfilled as a person

I take a more relaxed view of the bucket list. For me, it's not so much about working through or ticking off the individual points as quickly as possible. That might even be the least important point. The process of creating the list is much more interesting. In other words, thinking about what I would like to learn. Which place would I like to travel to? What would I like to experience?

maybe it's the prioritisation of things, that gives your head some hierarchy and clarity + maybe having it as a referrable list of things which you could do, not should do, is the healthier approach to this

Maybe, yes you could be right. I don't see such a list as dogma. It is not absolute. It helps me, as you say, to prioritize and get clarity. It is also subject to constant change. Things are added, others are deleted

Nothing wrong with lists to organise your life.. but to live a life, to ground your fulfillment and happiness on a list is not a great idea

Absolutely true

what do you base your happiness on?

gratitude, being present and being detached from anything external?

I think happiness is what you make of it. It’s a choice. You have to know who you really are to be happy. You don’t base it on anything. It’s know love, gratitude, joy, content, security at its most basic of human needs. You also have to know how to recognise it.

Besides from the occasional to-do list I don’t really do lists.

Let life happen.

i think it's a balancing act

planning vs not-planning

and there's only what's right for you

Totally.

I just always despised planning.

So I avoid it as much as I can.

My most important things on a bucket list are checked ✅✅✅ 🤩🤗

love to hear when things fall into place 🤗

and you would know about falling 💀

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA DAMN WELL

Dang I need a bigger list

add more nodes to your list and voila 😉💜
