Yeah, they definitely KYC because they fall under MSB rules.
You can host a starter node on Voltage for $25/mo and run BTCPay Server, or probably a whole lot cheaper if you use Lunanode.

I use it on WordPress and Shopify. Luna or Voltage only solid way to go, but is more complicated and comes with a monthly expense.
BTCpayServer works great with WordPress. This tutorial is a little outdated, but it's also easier to set up with the one click method.

One other option for all customers is to use nostr:nprofile1qqstdhxam7rxw5586xjwscsdj24fqhp93kzsh7xvjg7nnhc7mlh9aeczqf2t4 - but that does increase some admin/shipping work.

Again - it only seems to support USA customers. Not international.
BTC pay server as someone suggested works as well - but then you have to manage it more. And it also only supported USA customers in our testing. So we swapped back over to this.
Coinbase and Shopify just announced a collaboration - so that might eventually support bitcoin. But the announcement only specifies the USDC stablecoin.
Yeah I was testing Coinbase and it accepts bitcoin payments but itโll convert it to USDC the moment they pay
