Yeah, they definitely KYC because they fall under MSB rules.
You can host a starter node on Voltage for $25/mo and run BTCPay Server, or probably a whole lot cheaper if you use Lunanode.

I use it on WordPress and Shopify. Luna or Voltage only solid way to go, but is more complicated and comes with a monthly expense.
