I've implemented "annotations" which mark a reply. Any reply by the same author as the parent with the tag "annotation" gets rendered inside the note.
It's not live because I'm waiting on the UI team. But IMHO this is the solution, eventually, when everybody else does it too.

I actually recived just over 4M sats from the community. Everyone really came together to help me and my family not be homeless... so I know the people herehave done amazing things before and can do them now and in the future too.
I ended up using what I needed to prevent me and my family from being homeless and gave the rest back out. I even gave nostr:npub137c5pd8gmhhe0njtsgwjgunc5xjr2vmzvglkgqs5sjeh972gqqxqjak37w his 1M sat zap back.... only felt right.
Where im at now wouldn't be possible without nostr.
And for that I'll always be in the communities debt.
