Atlas Shrugged is a book that marked a before and after for me; it’s a book that every Bitcoiner should read.

I read it late—before that, I had already read many books on Austrian economics and anarcho-capitalism, which is what led me to Bitcoin—but Atlas Shrugged perfectly captures what’s happening today and, above all, what the solution is.

It’s one of those life-changing books, especially because now we have the solution within reach. If you read it, you’ll understand.

Who knew El Salvador might have been Galts gultch in some alternate timeline

What is the solution?

I'm going to make you a spoiler.

You can't change the current course of things, just build a new world with hard money by isolating yourself from the old world, and obviously in that new world there should be no bureaucrats.

Currently the closest example is the small circular economies that have been created around Bitcoin in certain areas, the Bitcoin communities.

There is no other solution, that is the right direction to take, that a state adopts bitcoin is useless, that you pay taxes for your bitcoins is useless, the state is the problem.

It's even more powerful in the original Klingon 👀

Reading it now but I haven't really gotten to enjoy it as much as the fountainhead.

It is a book that goes from less to more, when you finish it you will simply think it is a work of art and it will leave you thinking for hours.

Don't give up and finish it.

Thanks for the tip I’ll push through 🫡

Enjoy nostr:npub1ghcetnluhryhynhuyj8s2pazldjm27wl40nu6dfeskvpv09twcnsneygat! Do not watch the movies before you finish the books!!! ☝🏻🐸

I have way too many movies on my list for that 😂

I mean it. Don't! The book is really good, but the 3 part movie is an abomination. 🙈

You should’ve just said the movie sucked. I wasn’t even considering it before but definitely will stay away 😂

Its a long book but it’s such an important book. I listened to the audiobook when I was in college. Had a huge impact on my outlook on life. Same with Orwell.

Who exposed you to that in high school? That’s wild. In high school I was fucking around on MySpace 😂

TBH, My best friends (hot) older sister said she was reading the Fountain Head and it was her favorite book…

Also, there was zero social media when I was in HS.

🧡👊🏻🍻

Yeah I’m younger than you are 😂

I see where you got the motivation from 🫡

Same for me, although I read it right at the beginning of my journey. Recently saw someone on the train reading it. Gave me a sense of hope that not all is lost

She should have cut back on the sex scenes though. Dear god they were painful.

I finally broke it out a month or so ago. 2-4 pages a night.
