Honestly speaking from my experience and my own mom .. some generations will never adapt to new technologies. There’s a reason of why boomers like Facebook more.
I was thinking about that a few days ago. I can't imagine any normie that is 70, or above, wanting to deal with Nostr. I hope I'm proven wrong, many times over.

Refuse to communicate with her unless it's through a Nostr client. That's how my friends got me on FB. 😜

Seeing my posts. Have been thinking of deleting Instagram and it's the last one I have connection with my mother and she sees my stories about gigs, music and travels, and she does interact 😁

Buy mother a laptop with only nostr installed and permanently turned on. Then send video calls every day.
Tell her it's the easiest way to send tiny amounts of money to grandkids.
