there was a minute where I was watching a lot of Antonopoulus and thought "i should probably look into Ethereum"
then i decided i didn't have time for that shit
I came right into Monero and decided Bitcoin was cool too lol
Since I know you wisely allocate BTC heavy, yet have some burning need to defend monero, guess that still counts as not shitcoining 😉

Andreas wrote a book on Ethereum and I'm a similar sort of nerd so I figured i should check it out
im sure its technically interesting. I know Vitalik wanted to do it on Bitcoin (reenable opcodes!) but people started screeching so he left.

I listened to vitalik talk on the lex fridman podcast and I couldn’t get past his views that Bitcoin is bad for the environment. Anytime I hear that argument, I lose respect for the guy.
Monero is cool for privacy but I consider it a shitcoin at all it is not decentralized. Eth let's not talk about the disgusting of the crap

It is not decentralized simply because it is used by very few people. Dead protocol. For privacy the best nothing to say. But unfortunately it did not stand the comparison with Bitcoin and was "abandoned". This is my humble thought 🤷♂️

A family member swears up and down that I would always talk to them about Bitcoin back around 2009, but I have zero memory of that lol.
I can only remember it coming on my radar in 2013, but I don't think I really understood it/got into it until many years after that.

It was probably a "neat" passing interest kind of thing to me at the time that I read about somewhere. Then I went on with my life and forgot about it. I didn't actually own any Bitcoin or really understand it until about a decade later. I missed the blocksize wars and everything.
So I don't really consider myself OG 😅
