We did it! 🤣

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!

And the "solution" came from a central authority taking action that affected the whole network? What a great improvement on Twitter's model... šŸ™„

šŸ‘€

Dirty nostr, out there acting like decentralization means stuff can go anywhere. For shame

Then they fight you already???

Winning

Clearly bridges are bad. We don't want *them* crossing over at *us*. We need to bomb the damn Kirch bridge! The time for speech is over, this is the era of drones and missiles and bombs.

>Bluesky mitigated the attack fairly quickly and took down the spam accounts.

In what sense is bluesky decentralized? The marketing buzzword sense?

It’s not a hit piece if it’s true.

Why don’t you and other nostr developers write coding so that something like that can’t happen again?

I believe you have a severe misunderstanding of nostr. Nobody can stop anyone from creating a nostr account, an account is LITERALLY just a public private key pair, there is nothing anyone can do to prevent someone from creating a nostr account

Yes, but you can probably STOP spam bots from proliferating via coding somehow!

please explain how somebody can stop me from generating random numbers

I don’t know since not a Coder. That’s for you šŸ’»Geeks to figure out!

I’m an artsy/creative person!

How is this a hit piece? What was a ā€œhitā€ about it?

It’s good coverage for Nostr and a real issue for how it’s used.

To me it was trying to paint nostr as a place full of spammers and trumpers. Most people will only look at the headline and now many people will think this

Off headline alone, if someone only goes that far, true. I see that now.

I believe I had to disavow MAGA when I signed up here.
