So, let me explain. I have a strong background in the hospitality / catering industry. Knowing your customer(s) is not only expected but it's also good for your tips. Your customers appreciate if you remember them, their preferences and their taste for wines.

It would be a nice change if the states treat us as customers instead of as slaves.

Being treated like a citizen would suffice

Citizen is the modern word for Slave. They serve the same set of social roles.

But, if that is the case why do you still live in your country? Are you enjoying being a slave?
