I am trying to zap now but... It's not working. I have to figure out what's going on with that next.
Hmmm me too. Everything else is okay, but my NWC zaps don't go through. Check if you see notifications enabled and device token shown in Settings.
As well send few sats to yourself so you are sure basic wallet works.
Yep, all enabled. Everything else works normally, just not NWC invoices I guess.
Also, I believe we're all on #GrapheneOS. My wife is also having issues.
On Graphene OS you might not be able to receive push notifications (requires Google Play services). If that's the case, background processing of incoming nwc commands can't work.
Backup option is to receive commands over nostr relays, but that works reliably only if the app is running and foreground - not really practical.
No problem here. Try recovery if you can't contact them?
Have you tried, Settings->Backup and Recovery->Local Recovery Tool?
No, but, restarting the app worked... 😅
Just bear in mind that the sats are lost if your mobile is lost, you may recover your LN Address which is cool using your 12 backed up words, but the sats are not so straight forward yet.

That's kind of fascinating... But it also means that I really need to figure out sending sats to an on chain address since I don't need this many for zapping. 😅

Cashu mints are connected to Lightning so you can withdraw to any Lightning wallet but not directly onchain.
Yup. I get that... But I don't know how to move from lightning to on chain. That's my own problem, though.

aqua can accept lightning payment which it auto-converts to liquid.
from their you can swap liquid to btc.
also, it's been about a year or so but I have in the past gone from ecash straight to liquid in aqua. was a bit wonky then but worked and is likely better now
I don't know anything about liquid.
it's a sidechain that acts very much like bitcoin (UTXO's, etc) where you can peg-in / peg-out bitcoin.
1 min block times.
it's federated custody so not trustless, but it does work.
anyways, once you have sats in there, in aqua you can do a swap to peg-out your liquid sats and "turn em back into bitcoin", which is then in your custody.
the same seedphrase in aqua is used for both liquid and bitcoin.
Last update made more efficient v4 QR codes as default. You should be able to switch to legacy QR code format using an option below the code.
That is cool, for some reason when creating the eCash token the QR code would not show, it will give an error stating the string was too long, pity didnt took a snap shot
For some reason I can't comprehended, without restarting the app, without stopping and cleaning the cache, the eCash token QR code now shows perfectly, every time 🤔... Have been coding for ages and every time something similar to this happens in my apps is so disconcerting,

QR code fails to show if the amount of data the token takes is too big for QR code to be rendered. This depend on how many ecash notes are selected by the wallet to match requested amount.
In such case, there is option to copy or send ecash to another wallet address (contact) over nostr.
If you select another amount resulting on less ecash notes, QR code will show again.
