Every time the price of a shitcoin pumped low conviction bitcoiners, in it for the wrong reasons made bad trades.

Every bear market we shedded even more.

Yet, bitcoin is top dog. No centralized marketing. Just best product and time.

Stop whining that some other project *claims* to have more users.

Focus on your shit, build the best shit, stop being a pussy.

The real freedom tools with the right incentives will take many many years to find adoption.

Linux took for ever to capture its market.

Bitcoin took forever, still battling gold from behind.

Lower your time preference, or just ring the fucking bell and quit. The loser mentality drags everyone down.

I have nothing else to do but grind on bitcoin and Nostr for the next 20 years.

Learn to have FUN.

Is it obvious? Because that payment option doesn't typically show up on the kiosk. I can convert some Bitcoin to dollars, maybe, but until then they don't typically give me the ham sandwich.

It’s not low conviction to point out weaknesses and discuss what can be done better.

Build, yes.

But for every 10,000 well built things, only a fraction get to market successfully - and they’re the ones who know how to build a comms engine around it (or just get lucky / right time right place)

But rose coloured glasses don’t solve problems, nor does ignoring them.

Speaking to customers and understanding their problems so you can craft the best possible products does.

That’s what I’m trying hard to do. Speak to content creators from *outside* of Nostr & bitcoin echo chambers.

When I made my comments last week, it was aggregate feedback from 75 in depth discussions/interviews over 6wks with actual content creators..

Vibes are cute. And yeh - important to be positive. But there’s always something to learn, and that implies talking about the not-so-great stuff

The ride will be fun, smooth, and entertaining if great builders will handshake with solid promoters.

The things we most want to see/achieve in the next 20 years can be accomplished in 10 years if planned and implemented effectively.

Just like Linux, I agree it's a great product, but some writers/promoters explained it very well that everyone tried and stuck.

Fun = key. People need to learn to have fun. When your adrenal glands aren't being striped mined for stress hormones the content of your posts and general direction of the network changes.

The growth of Nostr in some ways depend on the quality of output by the creators here. A decentralized network pumping out valuable information and entertainment to (smart and wealthy?) users will become known. The size of the network is not its value.

No marketing team, no foundation, no “roadmap”. The best protocols win because they solve a problem and move humanity forward. Shitcoins are just casinos that don’t actually solve any problem whatsoever.

I’d argue they exacerbate all the fiat problems, fraud, and chaos.

Fast and cheap transactions? We already have that with the USD shitcoin. Zelle is pretty fast and cheap if you ask me.

Shitcoins don’t solve any problem. That’s why they will never win.

Bitcoin fixes things. It actually puts humanity back on the right track.

zooom out, and keep the homescreen a picture that Fedility telling bitcoin going to $1 Billion dollars in 2038, and Bitcoin averaging 80% per year, and limited supply of Bitcoin, Bitcoin being a limited supply and etfs buying shit Ton of Bitcoins, and 17 Million bitcoin ÷ by 8 billion people is just 1,80,000 sats to have major share of Bitcoin , we are freaking bullish and doesn't care about the price of Bitcoin, Bitcoin is scientifically prepared to go up in price and WE HAVE TO JUST WAIT and not expect the market to go up in price.
