Felt bold after #drunkstr, decided to make Italian-inspired sauce with cream cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, parmesan, and white beans (and bacon to sweeten the deal). Half of the offspring disliked the tomatoes, wife is cold-footed about beans, but I hoped that bacon, sun-dried tomatoes, and parmesan would be enough to offset it, but to little avail. Finger-licking good if you ask me... granted I lick fingers after a lot of things, but I still think it's goodπŸ˜… #foodstr

It was this https://www.youtube.com/shorts/I5XuMAuP2mE + bacon

My beans were slightly smaller, but I am used to it....

Getting set up for a pasta supper. 😁

Vegan style or will you add some meat? I am a sucker for onion in tomato-based sauce. There was a time when my daughter refused to eat cooked onion (raw is fine ¯\_(ツ)_/¯) because of texture. Turned out all I had to do was let her do a quality check and borrow her knife before sautΓ©ing the onion so she could make it smaller, and it's all right, so we are one big happy onion family again 😁

Oho! A fellow foodie! πŸ’―

Onions?

Absolutely!

I have fried from frozen ground beef with French onion soup mix was good results.

Heat is usually low and slow for my style.

I would have skipped the cream cheese and just did the Parmesan and a little heavy cream... Maybe a little fresh parsley.....Loved the bacon addition πŸ‘Œ

Agree that a little crusty sourdough to sop up the extra sauce would be πŸ”₯

I was afraid of using heavy cream, since sauces with it can turn not so easily digestible for the supper. So this was my first experience with using cream cheese as sauce thickener and it turned out great!
