Zaps have been stagnant for two years because we haven't gotten new waves of zappers. They're coming. They don't know that they're coming, because they don't know about zaps, but those that are coming DO participate in a value for value economy. Now, it might be a fiat economy, but they do participate in one. We'll teach them a better way forward.

I get that. Corn is a bit passive aggressive, but he's not entirely wrong here. The issue we have is that the current wave of zappers have been bled dry.

Don't listen to this nonsense quoted, if you want to zap 1 sat, that's fine. 1 sat is as valuable as many zaps. We're not here to make anyone rich and zapping big amounts of zaps everytime isn't going make nostr more popular. It's just going to attract greedy people and will want bigger and bigger zaps.
Zap the amount you want, not what greedy people want.
