Congrats! That's awesome.

I could do one if I could walk and take a few days 😁

congrats!

Great!! We wanna know the time 😁

My personal best is 3h:15'

6 hours, did some walking at the end. 3k ft elevation change though

With 3k ft of elevation is not a regular marathon, is a sort of mountain run.

Test your speed on 10km than you can plan your workouts.

Usually a marathon is 2*half marathon+15' if you run 70km/week you can reach your goal

I am thinking about running another one on flat ground to see wht kind of time I can get, this is helpful

That is extremely fast

Time?

6 hours haha

πŸ˜ƒ, no shame it that! I did a half marathon last year and I thought, β€œHow can it be physically possible to do this twice over?” πŸ˜†

I know, it is so far, I really was up against my physical limits

good shit brethren

how much prep did you do for it and any recs for peeps going for their first one?

I've been training since march, an injury and hot summer days slowed me down. Tips:

Drink

Wear compression

Lift weights to build muscle, it really helps with fatigue

wat compression do

am tard

Prevents chafing, especially important for me since I do not have a runner's body

huh, thank you for that

i also learned a new word today thanks to you

Uh, meant to say drink electrolytes

Congrats!! Huge achievement πŸ‘

Congrats on your finish

Congrats! I have one in 4 weeks, so I ran 20 this morning

20 feels good

Haha. Compared to 26 it does! I’ve been fighting a lower abductor injury. Congrats again on doing what most won’t/can’t!

Tha last long run is usually 3weeks before marathon and about 35km, 20"/km slower than marathon pace, without stops

Ready for next week half marathon 😁

Nice! No idea what kilometers are though lol

πŸ˜‚ impossibile

πŸ‘

Wow congrats!

Great work!
