I just replaced all my main lights from LED to incandescent
I can't believe I was using seed oil lights for so long

Leds are the epitome of fiat
We're 100% incandescent. Over 50 luminaires
Lmao
WTG π
You got this
Any sound literature/sources/studies at hand on how exactly LED light is harmful or worse than incandescent?
Sure, it's not a spectrum but only isolated frequencies/wavelengths, I know.
But plants apparently grow fine with a few wavelengths. Why shouldn't humans be fine with a few important ones instead of a full spectrum?
I'd assume that physiological/biochemical processes do not depend on the full spectrum.
Save yourself some money and learn some real science while you are at it. Here is my answer to this when some influencer posted that you should do it.
If your brain needs to fill the gaps it's working, similar to the case with mp3s versus HiFi.
There is a fatigue from the extra work .
I could tell the difference as soon as I started using them.
If you don't like incandescent lights it's all good. Nothing to be upset about.
No there isn't stress from filling the gaps. Your vision is more gaps than data even outside in the sun. Like I said in the post your didn't read, you would be a permanent ball of stress if that were true because it is our natural state of being.
I do have fair reason to be upset. These people are wasting our time and money on useless "cures" with misinformation that we believe because we get placebo effects and are to stupid or lazy to properly test.
On top of that we pay them fat stacks of our cash so they can live better lives than us for the privilege of being cheated.
Enjoy being self righteously upset then my dude. May it add many years to your life π€
I'll never get back the years of healthy life that the health influencers stole from me. I spent ages not looking at the real things I needed to do to improve my health. The least I can do is try to help others avoid the same traps.
If this is the best answer you can muster it is very clear you didn't read what I wrote. You didn't read the science behind why the LED thing is wrong and you didn't read my story about how I know from personal experience they are peddling snake oil for clicks.
I did read your messages. I agree sometimes these guys say stuff that doesn't make sense.
People fall for it at times and that can do damage, but I don't speak for anyone else.
Jack and Paul's advice has never hurt me personally and I've never given a single sat to either of them.
If you learn to forgive yourself for making mistakes you won't get upset about little things like this.
You say you've read by clearly didn't understand. I'm not mad at myself. I did nothing wrong and have nothing to forgive myself for.
It isn't about if switching light bulbs hurts you. You have failed to properly take the perspective of someone with a real illness.
Every medical misinformation increases the search space for people who have real conditions they need help for. In that situation you are forced to pick at random and try it. Then you need to spend time collecting data to see if you've improved.
I could be rolling a 6 sided dice to hope to land on my real problem but instead I'm rolling a 12 sided dice. Statistically you've doubled the time I spend I'll sick until I figure out my problem. Those people with real issues are who get hurt.
For me it was 4 years of suffering while my life slowly fell apart because I was too sick to keep up. Constantly looking that is how long it took me to figure it out.
Most people don't have the scientific literacy I have and would have wasted even more time on BS like changing light bulbs.
Collectively across every sick person looking for a cure unknown but massive numbers of healthy years are being stolen from people. I'm not mad at myself for having my healthy time stolen. I'm mad at the people who stole it. I'm mad at the scale of suffering they cause. I'm mad at every complicit person who is self centered enough to say it doesn't hurt me to try it and spread it because I'm already healthy.
Right now, I'm mad at you for being a gaslighting prick trying to make it out to be my moral failing to want to help protect people who are suffering from people who are happily making it worse to line their own pockets.
I am genuinely sorry to hear you've struggled with health problems, but those problems are your own and there is no one else to blame.
Stay mad if you would like. That's the extent of the sympathy you'll be getting from me.
What brand did you go with? Need to make the swap myself
I got these for the smaller lights, they are dim on their own, but most of my lamps use two bulbs. I need to order a floodlight too.
