Does anyone on nostr have an interest in learning to tan hides and/or sew into sandals, slippers or other clothing? I have 3 sheep hides I can send you. We can discuss if you need them salted or scraped or whatever prior to sending.

I would love it if someone on here can post some zappable tutorials about tanning hides and crafting with them... Maybe someone already does and I just don't know about it!
I have a book I can lend ya on the process. I've watched a lot of redneck videos on YouTube and it doesn't seem hard, just have little time at the moment and would rather then not just sit around in my freezer since I know I have 7 more in may next year. Also you could get logs to build a stretcher from my property, have a bunch of wood already cut.

Tanning stuff and using is awesome! I’ve only brain tanned items and it’s a ton of work but a great result. Folks usually give me deerskin but I won’t take it without the brain 🧠
