Things we think we/people will build; secure IM, nostr clients, transaction coordinators, signing device software with different tradeoffs, VLS signer, FROST signers (#MPCgang), secure notes, password managers, games, etc...

This is one step away from building the bitcoin phone
Which, since cheap 1TB microSDs, is technically possible already yesterday.
Iβd drop apple in a heartbeat for a bitcoin phone with an open source App Store
What defines 'Bitcoin phone'?
I would say a phone that is both open source hardware and open source software, whoβs software is made with bitcoin integrations in mind. Built in keys on a secure element, Lightning wallet, etc.
This is my dream, but basically itβs a phone whose primary functions are call, text, and interfacing with the bitcoin protocol.
super cool
Holy crap. Amazing.
I'm trying to build something similar but for disasters. I'm using meshtastic since everything is open source and mature. So comms is meshtastic, gsm, and starlink for now. User interface would just be phone and hardware wallets so no custom satslink device. Protocol to transmit bitcoin transactions coming from samourai wallet guys. Decent short message protocol pony/txtenna and opensource code. It doesn't do lightning but I suppose that could be easily developed (simpler with cashu maybe). I know that for offline you could go old school and just hand someone a signed transaction (like a bank check) that they can transmit once they have service. But people just aren't as accepting of that these days. Even sats cards have diminished utility in a disaster scenario since they're preloaded with a fixed amount. I think we need transmit and receive confirmation.
bullish
A bank card emulator π grabber (I'm just a bad person I think I always see the bad in everything)

Very cool. When LoRa + utreexo?

Wow
It still looks like something that is running QNX.
