I can find a price for satoshis in fiat or specie
But I cannot ascertain a value
How much monetary value does a satoshis denominate?
Now that is the question.
Value is subjective and determined by each individual. So it’s up to you to value a satoshi.
How much monetary value does a gold bar denominate? It’s better to think of it in terms of purchasing power imo.

Exactly, people own gold coins not golds. Similarly, people own bitcoin UTXOs not bitcoins.
Bitcoin is objectively a distributed ledger that tracks the movement of UTXOs, which are denominated in satoshis.
