Turns out your abs heal extremely slowly. Be careful not to overexert them!

YIKES. I recently gave myself tennis elbow from using too much weight for an isometric pecs routine. That has been a bit slow to heal and has been a huge setback because I can't do pushups. That's bad enough.

What was the motivation to train so hard? I just try to maintain my dad bod with pushups and bird dogs.

Even plank and its variations, properly done, are more than sufficient.

paddle a kayak on flat water 3 miles, 3x week. At your own pace. This works and is not dangerous to your abs.
