When do you become a Bitcoiner? 🤔

Is it when you buy for the first time?

Is it when you self custody for the first time?

Is it when you’ve studied Bitcoin for a certain amount of hours?

Or is it something else entirely that makes you a Bitcoiner?

It’s when you realized the bankers were the problem

What’s the biggest problem that bankers create?

When you realize owning and self-custodying Bitcoin is the end-goal, and using it as money that you see fit.

Solid answer!

i set up zaps, i think that is step one 🤔

That’s part of it for sure.

I sent you a private message a month ago, and you haven't replied to me.

All of the above. And a bank account that only covers fiat expenses plus 3 months security blanket.

Thank you for your perspective. I tried to zap you but there was an error. You may want to check your wallet. ⚡️

There are degrees to it and every point you described is a step closer towards the maxi end of the spectrum.

Difficult.

There is not only one definition for bitcoiner.

What is it for you?

For me, a bitcoiner is a party who uses a purely peer-to-peer version of electronic cash for online payments to another party, without going through a financial institution.

Do you?

For me, you’re a Bitcoiner if you’ve bought Bitcoin, study it, and come to the realization that it’s more than just crypto and a way to get rich. When you come to the realization that it’s a technology that can transform the world in so many ways, you have arrived.

I agree with your perspective. Your viewpoint is outlined outright in the Whitepaper.

I was a bitcoiner before bitcoin existed.

Say it ain't so
