You absolutely can. My current setup is:
- Ubuntu 22.04
- dedicated internet connection
- Enterprise server with 8 cores and 128GB ECC ram
- Mirrored SSD and replicated PGSQL between two separate servers
- Eclair 0.9.1
- LNBits and RTL

Why do you miss zaps?
Not all of them make to my node due to LN not having routes to my node. 🐶🐾🫡
Do you have an idea how many? How do you know or quantify it if so?
I run a private node and haven't seen any logs for failures. I'm pretty well connected IMO but I honestly don't know if I miss out on zaps or not. I get some but I figure my notes just aren't worth zapping.
You can see by looking at the fetched invoices, those rarely fail. Of course it’s possible that the person decided not to pay, but I know for a fact that some fail after people letting me know 🐶🐾🫡
