Really trying to support bitcoin companies like Fold but they make it extremely hard to do so

Need to auto convert my deposits into bitcoin in order to qualify to get rewards on ACH bill payments for mortgage, credit card, etc. which would be fine if they didn’t rip me off on spreads on both the buy and sell side

Just got a deposit auto converted 2 minutes ago. Price on strike never got over $57.6k this morning but fold coverts my money at $57.9k? If I try to convert back to USD (within minutes) to pay my bills they will sell my coin at $57.1k…

Fun times…

I have had nothing but nonsense experiences with them as well. Contacted support twice. No response and no changes.

It’s really frustrating and sad.

I had a $5k deposit convert last Monday at a price that bitcoin never even touched ($63.7k). Tried to wait it out to convert back to USD to pay my credit card but got scared last night and couldn’t risk any more downside. They sold $500 lower than the price at the time.

Feel like I am picking up Pennie’s in front of the steam roller

This is a dishonest game these companies play. Calling it ‘no fees’ but instead adding a huge spread on both sides. Worse than ConBase imo, at least they are honest in their fee structure
