⚡️ NOSTR ZINE ALERT! ⚡️

Last week I had an idea after attending a local punk / hardcore show. These are the people we need to get on Value for Value, Bitcoin and Nostr.

They’re mostly young, non-conformist (or at least, they have an ember of that in them that needs to be ignited). Also, the punk scene is already famously scrappy and DIY-centric (tape labels, zines etc.).

So, I made a Zine… (my first Zine ever). It’s about Value for Value and Bitcoin. I made it for me (and everyone) to hand out at your next music event or show. It’s printable on a standard piece of 8 x 11 paper.

Get this in the hands of local musicians! Let’s get more people on to the Value for Value and Bitcoin standard!!!

All you need is,

* a printer (b&w or colour)

* some scissors

* the ability to fold a piece of paper

Maybe in the spirit of the punk rock DIY ethos, the punks should take a page out of the zine BYOFL (https://www.vice.com/en/article/the-story-of-the-diy-publication-that-kept-bands-on-the-road-for-decades/).

Don't host your music on another platform, you never know when they might rug pull you, change their fees from 10% to 30%, or change their TOS and hold your music hostage. If you're really a punk rocker, Host Your Own Fuckin' Music (HYOFM).

It's easy. Here's a tool that helps you do it. It doesn't cost you anything, I don't take 10% off the top. I only ask if you find value in it, you give some value back. Real v4v, not a forced 10% for the Big Guy.

Need some help walking through it, reach out. Lot's of other DIYers have done it before you, and are more than happy to help you out. We're in this for the community, not the commodity.
