Alright, anyone who does sourdough at high elevation, like 5,800ft? I'm going to try to start my starter in the next few days. I have lived at high elevation and baked without issue but sourdough has me slightly nervous. I had a starter years ago but it was gifted and we were only at 3,000ft not almost 6,000ft. Any tips/ tricks would be greatly appreciated!

I’m at 6,500 feet. I haven’t experienced any issues

Thank you! I heard some people talking yesterday that their starters weren't raising, which made no sense to me but figured I'd ask others.

I was gifted some starter and made some a long time ago. It worked fine, but it wasn't worth it because I didn't eat a much bread, so I let it go. I've been keto fo r4+ years, so it has been a long time, but there was no problems at a mile high.

Thanks, we don't eat much either but I'd rather have a starter and just gift bread to friends when we don't need it then buy it from the store.
