The great chicken soup experiment fell apart, so.... How do I plug my graph into a relaytools relay? I'm not sure which relays are best to stream from or which pubkey is the observer, mine or customer relay pubkey?
Go to https://brainstorm.world
Signup for the straycat instance,
Publish your single 10040 event,
It will calculate and provide you stats over time, very hands off and cool. You can get your follower count, or the rank of anyone in your network.
Clients can use this to lighten the CPU/network loads of apps, and it's all opt-in, nip'ified and etc.
For example, here's how i see my follows using nak:
```
❯ nak req --kind 10040 -a 7cc328a08ddb2afdf9f9be77beff4c83489ff979721827d628a542f32a247c0e wss://nostr21.com |jq
connecting to wss://nostr21.com... ok.
Discussion
the observer pubkey is your pubkey.
would you just do a chickensoup set of tags maybe? if so, then streaming from a large relay that supports streams is a good way to easily populate the relay with notes that match both the web of access+keyword or kind.
you could try streaming from .. say primal, or maybe damus to start. or try a stream from primus (a combo of those, but filtered by *my wot observer already). many possibilities. some relays do not support the stream, but many do. i can let you know if a stream is not working, so far i have not bubbled this up into the UI yet.
forgot to say, in your relay's Web Of Access setting, click advanced and set your observer pubkey. yep! Tho you prob already saw that. It will be for your pubkey and since you're already signed up, it already has your calculations ready.
Nice! Okay. Thank you! nostr:nprofile1qqsw2feday2t6vqh2hzrnwywd9v6g0yayejgx8cf83g7n3ue594pqtcpz9mhxue69uhkummnw3ezuamfdejj7qg4waehxw309aex2mrp0yhxgctdw4eju6t09uq36amnwvaz7tmwdaehgu3wvf5hgcm0d9hx2u3wwdhkx6tpdshsd8m8kr just processed my new grapevine & I'm excited to put it to use.
Your Grapevine has been recalculated at the restrictive settings! Whitelist is now ~ 30k pubkeys instead of ~ 104k. And it’s ready to be accessed by Relay Tools!
Thank you! It will be a couple days before I can get everything set up. I'll let you know how this goes, once all the pieces are in place.
Ok. I'll think about this. I almost gave up on soup, but maybe I can still pull this off 😅 would we be able to purge the current contents of wss://aquaticchickentheory.nostr1.com and start over? If not, that's okay, too. I can just work forward.
I'm happy to set up another busy WOA feed, if I can't work this out. Your graph is probably much larger than mine so double-filtered could be interesting.
Currently:
‘wss://kitchen.zap.cooking',
'wss://nostr.mom',
'wss://relay.nostr.bg',
'wss://nostr.wine',
'wss://relay.nostr.band'
We have a fairly large update coming by the end of the week that will change a few of these.
