Amethyst v0.30.0: Is this faster?

- Improves the use of EOSE events to avoid re-downloads

- Refactors invalidate cache to allow immediate and spaced-out screen updates

- Preloads URL Previews to avoid jittering when loading

- Remembers video playback functions to avoid jittering

- Fixes feed position when looking at a note and coming back

- Updated Chinese (Traditional) Translation by @miseelu

- Refines the look to the Zap animation

- BugFix for nostr: clickable uris

- Videos now go full screen.

Any feed or a particular one? User profile feeds and notification feeds are a bit slower still.

So by "janky", are you talking about the little hickups when sliding through a bunch of notes? Otherwise that seems pretty smooth to me

It doesn't come across very well in the recording, but it's dropping a ton of frames and HWUI profiling shows it going through the roof

Wow, my speeds are nothing like that video. I'm still jerking and lagging and twitching around. I'm not seeing saved positions in a thread, either. On v0.30. Fairly high-end tablet a couple years ago.

Downloaded Amethyst yesterday, it’s too buggy. Haven’t been able to use at all. Been using Damus. Lmk if you need any info on what I mean by buggy, happy to help!

So basically when I open the app the animation is so slow that it looks like the app is stuck/frozen(reffering to sliding between new threads and conversations, sliding through comments and global feed). Unable to change the account, Once I select the different account, app freezes, I have to close it and reopen and then it would be switched to new account. I have only used the for a for a day yet. I’m using samsung s10 and I wouldn’t believe it’s processor issue

Thank you for the report. I might need to buy an old Samsung to see what's going on. There should be more than enough processing power to deal with the app right now...
