“When you grow up & you become incurious, you stop having a true-false framework run in your head & you have an us-them framework run in your head. And I think that's it. Bitcoin people are people who are searching for truth & everyone else is us versus them." nostr:npub1rtlqca8r6auyaw5n5h3l5422dm4sry5dzfee4696fqe8s6qgudks7djtfs

Smart, Covid and BTC show us the people in each category.

“Us: Bitcoin people. Them: us vs. them people” 🥴

What I am hearing is Bitcoin people are people who never grew up. Checks out.

My recent debate with nostr:nprofile1qyt8wumn8ghj7ct5d3shxtnwdaehgu3wd3skueqpz4mhxue69uhk2er9dchxummnw3ezumrpdejqqgp4dp6ll4efkphwknqa0fc2ra6sq3wsvam56gwqltl7ftetl94zaqwpckjr illustrates to me how hard it is for most people (including me) to step back and observe stimuli as it is, rather than as they would have it to be.

It's not about fools choices as Thinking Fast and Slow defined.

The question is, what is most real relative to what I'm paying attention to? And then setting myself aside and making unobstructed observations that lead to understanding, or even grokking, and then, if necessary, making decisions and taking actions based on what's real.

It's challenging to do, but it seems like the best way forward and on some level should lead to beliefs and actions based on the least amount of lies and the most amount of truth.
