Most people trade the sacred for the profane and then wonder why their lives are meaningless.

In the inferno Dante reserves the deepest level of hell for traitors.

Yet most people betray themselves everyday.

- ignoring their values

- neglecting their potential

- avoiding the truth

- disregarding their health

- self sabotage

- choosing fear over growth

- not saying what they believe

The lesson here is that our hell is often of our own making.

It’s the cold distance we create from our own soul.

From who we are meant to be.

When people talk shit about me I’m like I get it, I’m not that in love with myself either lol it’s when people love me that I’m confused.

If you showed 100 Americans a picture of a steak vs a picture of a seed oil-laden protein bar, I’m guessing that at least 80% would choose the protein bar as the healthy option.

Similarly, fried eggs vs a granola bar.

Pseudo-nutrition marketing is extremely powerful and misleading.

We’ve been seriously duped… much to our own detriment.

We won't see an exponential move (ie, a "blow-off top") until all three burners are on High.

The reason I keep harping on having children is because it’s similar to the epiphany of Bitcoin.

There are people out there who benefit from you being weak, atomized, and alone.

They’ve sold you a vision of freedom that actually serves them, not you.

The truth? Your life will be more vast, more meaningful, more fulfilling, and more joyful with a family.

You’ve been taught to believe the opposite, not because it’s true, but because it makes you easier to control, easier to extract from, and easier to discard.

This isn’t me judging you.

I believed the same lies.

I was seduced by the cheap, shallow narrative of personal meaning and individual passion, and I was miserable.

I didn’t find peace or purpose until I submitted to being responsible for others.

That’s where the meaning is. That’s where the beauty is. That’s where real life begins.

Trying to find your purpose in art, travel, or endless self-optimization is Malthusian psych warfare. Population control by spiritual demoralization.

It was never designed to make you whole.

It was designed to make you disappear.

Friendly reminder that you’re currently dying and this moment is the youngest you’ll ever be and your inevitable death is rapidly approaching and you’re likely stuck in a midlife delusion where you think what you’re doing is important and integral and it’s likely something that you’ll look back on at the end of your life and feel was ultimately pointless and wasted time and you’ll want it back and wish you weren’t so delusional in your 20’s, 30’s and 40’s because now that you’re old the pain of regret is crushing you like a boulder on your chest and you find yourself unable to move from under it. Omg you wasted all your time and there’s no going backwards. The delusion is gone, all you can do is sit in the regret. Why didn’t you say what you really thought? Why didn’t you do what you wanted to do? Whose life were you living? Why did you let them convince you to live it? How could you have been so misguided and delusional? How could you have been such a coward? but then you realize you’re on nostr and you’re still youngish and there’s still time and you just suddenly WAKE UP.
