Interesting, but how do we know it? Not claiming it is not true, just genuinely interested in what analysis is used to come up with these sorts of results
These are just pure estimation. Especially in bitcoin early days
I don't know how accurate that is since they claim that if the Bitcoin doesn't move for more than 10 years then it's considered lost. I suspect lots of people are still holding lots of Bitcoin for over 10 years and have not moved it because of government regulations and other reasons like they are using it as a savings account.
If governments removed Bitcoin regulations. I bet we'd see a massive amount of people start spending their Bitcoin. The economy would start seeing a slight boom of people buying lots of things with their Bitcoin that they have been holding for over 10 years.
Governments are such a drag on every industry.
