We need to end all the sanctions on that island.
You can't do that, otherwise, it will be impossible to make such videos.
I went to Cuba almost 8 years ago to the day. There really is no food. We were in Cienfuegos and wanted to eat at a local spot but couldn’t find anything open so we thought at least a hotel would be offering food. 95% of the menu was “Sold Out”. Ham sandwich- slice of ham between two slices of bread. Cheese was extra.
Went into stores, nothing. Shelves full of single items. One aisle was all Mayonnaise.
Havana was better but only for tourists and gov officials.
Stopped at the Apple store on the way to the Costco, I guess.
Sad. As a European in the US even I am appalled by the consumerism and wastefulness. A middle way would be preferable imho. Anyway, the decline of the dollar will take care of that in due time.
