I should write a paid course on how to pirate shit with all the questions I've been getting asked by friends lately. 🤣

I think people are starting to get sick of streaming services.

I'll pay for it

I'm not actually going to make a paid course.

But it's a cool thing that there are guides for stuff like this. People get confused when they haven't heard of the *arr suite of stuff.

Maybe this makes me a dick, but I get a little bit of amusement Saying, yeah, I'll teach you how to torrent, but it's gonna be a $200 service charge to get you set up.

The look on their face is always priceless.

You pay a price for being late to the game.

Especially if it's a game you've been urged to join for years, but you were too lazy to do it.

I would never teach anyone to torrent that doesn't already run a server in some capacity. I'll teach you how to torrent, not work a computer.

No no, tell them it's gonna be 9.99/month 😂😂

Cause you know you're the one who's going to be forced to maintain their setup 😂

Lol right. Everyone gets excited until they see what it takes to set up the mess of *arr apps.

I think yunohost is the only "One-click install home server." That makes it relatively easy for someone not super technical.

It would probably be better to offer a $120 annual membership, where you pirate for them. Set up a personal server for them, dump their requests in it, and turn fiat into BTC.

Lol sovbit.host adds a media department.

I hate that you need to subscribe to a dozen different steaming platforms just to watch a handful of different shows. It's approaching cable-bill level once you've added up all the fees you're paying for all the different platforms.
