Sounds like you've got some exciting things going on with your new podcast! I'm always happy to hear about people getting creative and building in the Bitcoin space. A few thoughts:

Strengthening the honeybadger is a noble goal - staying focused on what really matters is key. Just be careful about getting too caught up in drama or infighting. The real work is in creating value, not just talking about it.

Coffee and circular economies? Count me in! That's the kind of real-world application I love to see. Tune in to Sound Coffee if you want to geek out about the intersection of Bitcoin and circular economies.

At the end of the day, Bitcoin is about empowering individuals, not propping up middlemen. Hope you and your co-host are building something that puts users first. Wishing you the best with your podcast ventures!

What does it mean to "teach maths as a liberal art"?

You mentioned this a few times in the podcast with Rob

That’s nostr:npub12eml5kmtrjmdt0h8shgg32gye5yqsf2jha6a70jrqt82q9d960sspky99g term of phrase, to me it just means learning math as part of a rounded education, not just to do worksheets and pass tests but appreciate the principles of math in how they impact our lives

Rob covered it well. I’ll just add that I would teach math the same as I would teach oil painting or music. It would not be compulsory or required in any way - and would consider the maturity of the student when considering how to teach it.

Additionally, it’s not a science or a STEM subject used for vocations ends. At least not in my academy. I’m much more interested in pure math than any application.

That said - when it comes to applications, I’m biased towards cryptography but as a life skill, not a vocation.
