I want to learn how to cook potatoes, shrimp, beans, and rice π€·ββοΈ
i think this book is helpful! How to Cook Everything: The Basics: All You Need to Make Great Food--With 1,000 Photos: A Beginner Cookbook (How to Cook Everything Series, 2)https://a.co/d/19DwNC6
Potatoes: do whatever however, then poke it with a fork.
Shrimp: go full fancy, get other people to serve it to you
Beans: who the hell eats that, you'll rip in a seam, ditch it
Rice: study astrology and cantonese for five years and then, MAYBE, you'll get a hang of this one. Or just use strainer, fuck rice.
A rice cooker or pressure cooker makes all the difference with rice.
Yea, rice cooker is the best.
Is a crockpot a pressure cooker?
No, they are kind of the opposite thing in many ways. An instant pot is a pressure cooker. They make things quickly while crock pots are not pressurized and cook slowly.
Iβm not sure I have either, I have this air fryer thingie with a bunch of options, but I think I need like the most basic help possible like I need to hivetalk with nostr:npub1n0pdxnwa4q7eg2slm5m2wjrln2hvwsxmyn48juedjr3c85va99yqc5pfp6 and show her what I have and figure out what I needπ
You absolutely don't need pressure cooker as a beginner, maybe crockpot would be nice if you'd like to follow recipes. But not a need. Keep it super simple, get one big kitchen knife, keep it sharp, one good pan and two pots and you'll have it all. If you're really into rice, a rice cooker is nice to have and cheap thing. But don't bother yourself with other stuff for a while.

I love these directions ππ
You can use air fryer and foil to cook each one of those.

cook over fire π₯
bellissima π€
Just light a fire on my counter and throw some food on top?
Use your stove, but yes. When it sucks don't do it like that again. That's it. You do not need social media for this
the fire is IN the computer

1. Make fire.
2. Put meat on fire.
3. Eat meat.
Check this out. They show you how to mash garlic and stuff for the recipes. The nostr:nprofile1qqst5x9k23f40nlcu5c6enlp6cy6g8hnqglm5pcak89ltfn5frqeq3spz9mhxue69uhkummnw3ezuamfdejj7qg6waehxw309ac82unpwe5kgcfwdehhxarj9ekxzmny9uq3kamnwvaz7tmjv4kxz7fwdehhxarjwpkx2cnn9e3k7mf0tn02q0 and I have been using them for years.
I'm a dumbass. Here: https://www.cooksmarts.com/
Perrrrrfect, I took a peek and they do simple stuff
Yes. Veggie options, also. It's really a damn decent little planning thing. Helps with prep for later in the week, grocery lists, etc.
If you need to learn to cook message me anytime fren π« puzzles will appreciate it π€£
Do one of the meal subscription services for a few months. They will teach you through exposure. After a few months you will have made a bunch of different meals and then you can cook them yourself.
Cooking is a bunch of skills: food prep, meal planning, and then the cooking itself.
The meal delivery service let's you focus on the cooking.
I really like this idea because it really is the WHOLE process thats finding: what to eat and what ingredients to buy too π
Same... Need to make the most of Mum and get schooled.
