A trade war means high monetary friction in fiat. When that war is between major economic players, it means major players and globally spanning systems hunting for alternatives and bringing new infrastructure online.
As Bitcoiners have discussed for years, this is the breakdown in political cohesion of the fiat empire, and the fight to reestablish dominance.

Think of all the poorer countries “we” loaded with USD debt for projects that now have different return. Continuation of monetary policy… repo or refi hmmm
Hopefully they get a break and this is really mostly for EU and China?

One small problem, BTC is not usable as currency because the fees are too high and will skyrocket if such use is attempted
this is due to poor engineering choices and lack of foresight on the part of the sole controllers of BTC, a handful of devs
this is why it's important to keep decentralization alive like we have in Bitcoin Cash where no single group makes the decisions but the community as a whole

It will be interesting to see. Most countries are already creating an alliance with the USA. If they push China 🇨🇳 as a collective then things are gonna get spicy.
Just wish we could shout this from the rooftop and educate people to see why playing the fiat game, a game we all play, is playing a rigged game.
