basically never except when i get a new bed and its a different size.

we have a couple different sets that we rotate through every week and different ones for the winter (thicker flannel x2) vs summer (light cotton x2)

I just bought a couple sheets. The last time I bought sheets was in 2013, so 12 years.

When they get torn.

When I'm stretching the sheet over the bed and it rips.

When the dog jumps on the bed and their nail tears a hole.

Whenever something on fire gets dropped on the bed and burns a hole etc.

I have a bunch of sheets on rotation and use the old ones in the garden as weed matting when they get damaged.

Every block halving, obviously.

When you buy a different sized bed.

Only when I get a new mattress or move flats. There's likely potential for some quality buy it for life stuff but I don't care enough to dig into it.

Will probably check out sleeping on the floor some time instead.

I replace mine when I get tired of looking at them. That could be every couple of years. Longest, I think, was about 5.

Interesting that you have a bed.. must of mined BTC in 2009… until dollar sat parity… sleep on the floor!

My wife just had to replace hers. The small hole in the sheet became about a 12inx4in hole by the time she'd had enough.

I would have a lot sooner, but then again she's had to toss some of my boxers. I say improved air flow, she says savagery. You decide.
