Just one thing we did differently is titanium cutting boards. Why, softer than steel so it wont kill your knives and FAR cleaner than wood.

Are they slippery? I’ve always been concerned about the knife getting away from me. I’ve heard of bad experiences with glass cutting boards, and I assumed it’d be the same issue with any metal ones

If you cut with a rocking motion instead of a pushing motion the boards are irrelevant… but not everyone is Gordan Ramsey, we do just fine and are a little more mindful during the cut.

As for glass, absolutely no bueno if slipping is a concern.
