It was a birthday present to myself based solely on vibes. The learning came afterwards.
It took time & practice for me to trust my gut fully.
I had a lot of conditioning to undo.
I found the more I let go feelings of fear & greed, the more my gut steered me in a direction that I preferred.

My gut is telling me that Israel/iran has a low chance of regional spillover and an even lower chance of direct war between Iran and America.

I hope you are right. However, there are signs that suggest otherwise (see below). Even if it doesn't go this far, a lot of damage is already done and risk is already created.
It was known that Trump would likely escalate in the Middle East long before the Government Crime Authotization Ritual (AKA election).
On top of that: The Palentir issue is even worse. The state is not compatible with the Information Age, and was destigned to die (IMO this gave us Covid, wokeness and all these proxy wars, the panicking state that saw their power vaporise)
Palentir is literally the only way I can think of to give the state a chance to survive by upgrading and making itself Information Age proof.
Since the monopoly on information of the state is broken, the on money is about to be broken and the one on violence is highly diminishing (drone warfare), an authoritarian and distopian AI control grid is the only way to stay in control. And that's exactly what Trump is pushing through now.

How is palantir materially different than what the NSA already does?
I wonder if there’s an advantage for a private company vs a federal agency with what they can get away with.
Rolling it out globally will be much easier = Technocratic one world government.

Also, it's a private company so global rollout will be very easy. You can copy software for free, so exchanging the tools for data with foreign govs will be a no-brainer.

Those are cooperating governments. Govs are inherently inefficient, they often can't even build a working website for 100 million. I am confident that #Bitcoin (+the awakening) wins the race to defund the government if govs have to figure out AI by themselves (the track we been on).
However, now Trump takes the facist road (term not used as by a leftist, but as merging corps and state) and uses a private company to do it, things get seriously scary.

I do think that this is the fastest road AI distopia. Without the Trump / Musk psyop it would take way longer to implement. They are taking a lot of shot cuts (made possible by the hype and worshipping).
Just a few years delay on this stuff would give #freedom a much bigger chance to win the race, and I am pretty certain that we had got these few years without the Trump psyop
