I am hesitating.

Either I push my Sprint session today as planned (10 Sprint Intervalls x 30 secs on Speed 18) or I do a back โ€žrehabโ€œ, with stretches and strengthening part.

Did some heavy work during the whole week and feel a bit sore still in my low back and quads.

What do the experts recommend?

Take care of your lower back. You only have one.

yes, will do some QL stretches, mobilisation and light strengthening work.

Did a proper routine last year for weeks, due to an issue coming from my gluteus medius up to the QLโ€ฆ

Work your core.Thats the no. 1 thing to avoid damage to your lower back.

And mobility exercises are better than stretches. Its basically the same but you don't push your body to the point of agony. Key is to get rid of stiffness.

Hi Tanksen, how many heavy and interval workouts are you doing?

How are you splitting your heavy work?

Is it for example a 2 split (lower, upper).

I could recomend having a day rest or if too tempted to train after heavy Workout or Interval training, you may do a 1/2 load workout on a resting day. Resting is better moving anyway. ๐Ÿ’œ

Important is to always feel good, make sustainable gains and listen to what your body is telling you.

I basically do 3-4 gym sessions and 2 x Cardio work.

Gym is split usually into 1 x legs, 1x back, 1x chest.

I do work some arms/abs usually at the end of the sessions.

I have often a fourth day for โ€žpleasureโ€œ, working shoulders or core more dedicated.

Cardio: 1 x 30-35 mins running with more speed, but โ€žsteadyโ€œ, would say mostly in Zone 3 and 4.

The other session are 10 Sprint Intervals each 30 secs on Speed 16-18, with 1 minute slow in between.

On top, I pay attention to walk >10steps on average and get at least 1 massage each month.
