The American obesity problem is rooted in something much larger than an individual “doing better”.

It is layers of food toxicity, disrupted microbiome (in both soil and human), chronic circadian rhythm disruption, hormone disruptions from microplastics, and the scarcity of healthy food.

We all need to learn and do better. Including “bros” who thing it’s just about “trying harder”.

Yes, there is an information problem & we are swimming in harmful products. But the problems are also generally hyper addictive & even when people are aware of what they should do they often don't. I have been telling friends & family for years, they have seen results, & they still yo-yo back & forth.

You are ultimately the one responsible for your health & the one who suffers the consequences no matter who else you might find cause to blame.

It’s astonishing what the experts said, and what we did not know.

Of the diet front, the solution is simple, though. Just eat meat and basically nothing else.

And here comes the Carnivore. Now we just need a Vegan to round out the party of diet fad extremism.

Oh sure, after nearly a decade of "fad dieting" I have decided that grains & sugar & seed oils were never the problem, I'm going back to all the aches & pains & the mood swings of chronic inflammation & addiction.

Keep riding the struggle bus if you want...

About a month ago, I switch to "Mostly Not Plants" and have seen many improvements (less fatigue, better sleep, more restful dreams, less anxiety).

I still do eat a small amount of berries and a few other plants here and there, but the vast majority of my food is now meat, eggs and dairy.

So much better and I have no temptation to go back to eating what I was before, which was very healthy compared to the Standard American Diet.

I agree.

I eat alot of fresh eggs. And greens. Some wild greens. And fermented things. Raw milk.

No sugar. No refined anything.

And I don’t eat at night.

After a while of this, the craving system returns to telling you what you need, rather than what youre addicted to. Its great.

So this response is actually just you being sensitive about the fact that you're still fat isn't it?

Diet is 90% of the fix. Grains, sugar, carbs, & seed oils are the primary problems (eliminate them all). Steak is the healthiest, most nutrient dense, & satiating thing you can consume. Be strict & consistent with your diet & you won't have to work out hard to lose weight.

Dairy is also addictive, comes with some inflammation, & will slow weight loss, but whole milk yogurt can definitely be helpful when it comes to straightening out gut issues. Ivermectin can also help ( buy-pharma.md )

Cooking with cast iron is best, but a steak or eggs cooked on ceramic pan with "forever chemicals" will still get you healthier than eating bread & processed "health food" bars and other bullshit people do.

Um no. Lol. 😂

You’re a funny dude.

My issue with you, is that you are too confident to see your blind spots. The defensiveness you sense is related to me over reacting to your dominant know it all vibe.

But I still love and respect you.

Always happy to be shown where I'm wrong. While nothing is perfect, I generally feel like I am playing life on easy & most people just don't want to know how to change the settings.

Well, that’s true. But some do. I’m always questioning my root assumptions. Possibly to a fault.

When I was younger, I couldn’t understand why people were not as enthusiastic to change themselves. Marriage has toned that down a bit. Learning about timing, and other people’s rhythms. But you’re right. Some do not want challenging change.
